The NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player is a legacy software tool that allows you to watch stereoscopic 3D movies using NVIDIA 3D Vision glasses and a compatible 120Hz 3D-ready monitor. Because NVIDIA officially discontinued 3D Vision support in 2019, setting up the environment requires specific older software and hardware versions. Hardware & Software Prerequisites

Operating System: Windows 10 (version 1809 or older is highly recommended).

Graphics Driver: You must use NVIDIA Driver version 425.31 or older. Any driver released after April 2019 removes the necessary 3D Vision components.

Hardware: An NVIDIA GeForce GPU, a 3D Vision USB IR Emitter, 3D Vision active shutter glasses, and a 3D-ready 120Hz+ monitor connected via a high-quality DisplayPort or Dual-Link DVI cable. Step 1: Install and Enable the Drivers

Uninstall current drivers: Remove any modern GeForce graphics drivers from your system.

Install Driver 425.31: Download and run the NVIDIA 425.31 driver installer. Ensure you check the box to install the 3D Vision Controller Driver and 3D Vision Driver during the installation process.

Open NVIDIA Control Panel: Right-click your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.

Enable Stereoscopic 3D: Navigate to Stereoscopic 3D > Set up stereoscopic 3D in the left menu. Check the box for Enable Stereoscopic 3D.

Run the Setup Wizard: Follow the on-screen NVIDIA test wizard. It will ask you to turn on your glasses, look through each eye individually, and select the shapes you see to calibrate your system. Step 2: Set Up the 3D Vision Video Player

Download the Player: Download the NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player (v2.50).

Install: Run the installer and open the player once complete.

Configure Layout: Open your video file. If the video looks like two separate images side-by-side or stacked top-and-bottom, you need to set the layout format so the player can merge them. Go to File > Layout.

Select the matching layout of your video file (usually Side by Side, Left Image First or Over/Under). Configure Video Viewing Method: Go to View > Viewing Method.

Select NVIDIA 3D Vision to push the signal to your IR emitter and glasses. Step 3: Use the Player
