InqScribe is a dedicated transcription software for Mac and Windows that significantly accelerates the transcribing process by unifying your media player and text editor into a single interface. Launch the software: Open the InqScribe Application on your computer.
Load your media: Click the blue media area or Select Media Source to select your audio or video file. Alternatively, drag and drop the file directly into the media section.
Configure settings: Access the Transcript > Transcript Settings menu to set up your preferred text font, font sizes, and target frame rates. 🤖 Step 2: Use Built-In AI Transcription
Trigger the prompt: When a new file is uploaded, a prompt will appear asking if you want to transcribe the file.
Select your model: Download and select a Whisper AI model locally within the software.
Generate a draft: Let the software process the audio to generate a raw, initial timecoded text layout.
