Install XWidget Engine: Download and install the core launcher program from the official XWidget website.
Download the Skin: Get the .xwp (XWidget package) file for the Panzer Battery Gauge directly from the creator’s DeviantArt page or the Light Quick download archive.
Run the File: Double-click the downloaded panzer_battery_gauge_mki.xwp file. The active XWidget engine will automatically extract it, register the files, and place the gauge onto your desktop screen. How to Customize the Gauge
The widget features several built-in interactive control mechanisms and back-end adjustment options:
Resizing: Hold down the Ctrl key and scroll your mouse wheel up or down while hovering over the gauge. This scales the high-resolution brass asset textures seamlessly from small to full-screen size.
Desktop Positioning: Right-click the widget to bring up the XWidget context menu. Under Position, toggle the placement rules (e.g., “Stay on Top”, “Pin to Desktop”, or “Keep Below Other Windows”) to suit your layout preferences.
Opacity and Transparency: Use the standard XWidget right-click menu to modify the layer blending percentage if you want the brass frame to look more subtle against your wallpaper.
Code and Asset Modifications: To alter the underlying logic or image elements, right-click the gauge and select Edit. This opens the built-in XWidget Designer tool. From here, you can swap out the .png needle graphics or edit the JavaScript files that poll your system’s battery APIs.
